Jorge L. Pinon is the founder and managing member of JLP Legal.   Mr. Pinon was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in Miami, Florida.  He attended Florida International University, where he received a Bachelor of Art and graduated summa cum laude.  He went on to attend Florida International University College of Law.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Pinon was involved in the residential and commercial construction industry for many years and has been a member of the Miami Dade Realtor Association since 1988.​

Mr. Pinon handles a wide variety of matters in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, business law, estate planning, foreclosure defense and construction litigation.  He has defended homeowners in hundreds of foreclosure cases.  Moreover, his extensive background in construction has given him the unique opportunity to represent homeowners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other professionals in the construction industry.

In addition to litigating in state court, Mr. Pinon successfully has handled a number of quasi-judicial matters before architectural boards, construction qualifying boards, and building and zoning boards including City of Coral Gables Historic Preservation Board, ARCOM Town of Palm Beach Architectural Commission, Miami-Dade Construction Qualifying Board, and City of South Miami Ethics Commission.
